We recently sold our home and had Chicago title assisting us. We were working directly with our agent Kristen whom unfortunately, we had a difficult time working with. We had a notary come to the house, however during the signing process, there were a few things that we needed to look into on our end therefore, we needed to take the final remaining documents into the office. Sorry if duplicate:As per Chicago Title and our Realtor we were on track for closing on January 20, right up to the the afternoon of the 20th when we called for a status on the closing of our home sell when they informed us they had overnighted the documents to our buyer and that maybe they would be back in the office Monday or Tuesday of the following week. Buyer requested long escrow of three months yet Chicago title in Tulare, CA., Ran by Teresa Alves couldn't get paperwork done on time costing me to wait further for funds. When speaking with her assistant Tara I was lied to then hung up on. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR
