Yesterday my granddaughter had an appointment and she just loves going to the dentist. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was her first time getting an X-ray done and they were so professional about how to go about taking them at her age (3y/o) and the dental assistant that assisted her with cleaning her teeth was very friendly and made sure to ask if fluoride was okay to give my granddaughter. After going to different dentists to find the perfect fit for my kids, we’ve decided it to go here even tho it had mix reviews, I’m glad I did. Friendly, easy to make appointments, great with children. The only problem is we leave out of town is a little bit of drive for us, but we can’t afford dentist around our area for us, self employed families, dentist insurances are quite expensive.
The assistant and doctor that was in yesterday for my daughter’s crown treatment were so sweet and gentle with my daughter. I was kind of disappointed to hear that they were not regulars at the Vallejo office and were just filling in. I believe Chrissy was the assistant and I don’t remember the doctors name but she was a very kind lady. My daughter was left alone in the treatment room while receiving nitrous oxide. I was sitting outside by the door because I was pregnant; the gas would be bad for my baby. Although I could see her from the outside, no one was monitoring her inside. She ended up biting her lip till it was bloody. When the dentist and dental assistant came back my daughter's lip was all bloody. She was numb, she didn't know that her lip was already severely wounded. Horrible experience with the second dentist we saw. She didn’t inform us of anything and was very rough abd keft us sitting for 30-40 minutes after numbing shot. The hygienist was very nice but there should have been better communication. We left with out getting the work done. We will not be going back.
