Great at ordering tests, talking to patients, but terrible with follow up. Received a battery of tests, in July 2023. Never received any results! Last June 2025, I had a heart attack. One would think that something showed up in those tests! As another reviewer stated, I was setup to be surgery patient. See someone else!
Being looked at like a freak.
Dr Perks is one of the poorest cardiologists I’ve seen. Her knowledge is limited and her manner is rude to the edge of caustic. She recommends statins even when lipid levels are well within accepted range and is a shill for the surgeons in her group. She is extremely quick to schedule an expensive procedure if she thinks it will squeak by insurance guidelines and is somewhat vague after the fact on her reasoning. I strongly recommend you find a more qualified and honest cardiologist.
