I wanted to post a special review for a AKEEM personal trainer at CHUZE fitness Mandarin location! He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and goes out of his way to help every single person in the gym expecting nothing in return! He has an upbeat, positive personality that is contagious and he brings out the best than everyone! I highly recommend using him as a personal trainer at CHUZE fitness Mandarin! The gym has made significant improvements so kudos to Chuze. However, I noticed that my monthly fee has increased $5 which caught me off guard. Five dollars isn't a lot but I wasn't notified about an increase and it's the principle for me. I was told they sent me an email to advise me of the increase. That's not true. I checked my mail and email before I inquired so I know it was done without any notification which isn't professional for any line of business. I can no longer recommend this location. I have been lifting for 30 years, and I have tried out all Chuze Fitness locations in the area. This location used to be one of Jacksonville's nicest gyms. However, in recent years this place has become horrible. Always dirty, male locker room somehow smells like bad box. Toilet paper and other garbage always overflowing out of the trash cans. Gym is filthy, hot, stuffy, and smells. Equipment is old and many machines are always broken! As the other reviewer said, they do charge your account under the previous owner's name, which is very strange. There are plenty of other nice, clean, high quality, honest gyms here in Jacksonville. Stay away from Baileys or "Chuze" or whatever they are calling themselves these days.

Unfortunately this business is blatantly unethical. They advertise themselves under one name, then take money out of your bank account under another name. Upon signing up, I was led to believe that the former company who owned this gym, who we had a laundry list of negative experiences with, had completely sold to this new company "Chuze Fitness", then I find out on my Bank Statements that they are taking money out under the former owner's name "Baileys Health and Fitness".
