I have used them for over 25 years when passport and visa offices were paper based or the online request systems were primitive. That has changed and we have less of a need for intermediaries and expeditors at significant fees. For passport renewal within 3 week timeframe, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I unfortunately used it in a rush for upcoming work travel. The fees are exorbitant (over $500, despite the original fee stated- READ ALL THE FINE PRINT CAREFULLY!!!). My husband ordered from the government website at the same time, and received it one week earlier than I did!!, for minimal fees!!. An expensive lesson hopefully someone else can benefit from hearing about.
I've used CIBT for over 10 years. And i've always had an excellent experience. Their website is so helpful in identifying every aspect of the Visa Application, such as what is needed and how to apply. There turnaround time from the moment you apply to the moment you receive your VISA is extremely efficient.
Had to get a China visa with less than three weeks to designated departure and with the Chinese consulate closed for a week of that due to the Chinese new year. Despite the challenges I was able to get the visa in time for departure. The premium service was well worth the investment and assured getting the needed application materials in proper order on the first pass. Would not have made this deadline without the assistance.
You should always double check your VISA just in case of things that you asked for you don’t always get. My dad asked for a year and got only 3 months. They always seem to take their time getting it back to you. We missed out on some great deals because we didn’t have his VISA. I had a United Airlines ticket agent get his tickets and it cost my dad a lot more money.
