After having a very bad experience with another solar company(now out of business), I selected Citadel based on a recommendation from a friend who used them. The entire experience with Citadel was amazing. Starting from the interaction with the sales consultant to the design to the installation, this company was a joy to work with. Citadel did a great job on our roof replacement and solar installation. Cleaned up every day, all the guys were courteous and they were on time!
After having my solar panels cleaned, the company that did the service said that one of my panels was "arcing" and needed to be replaced or at least disconnected before it affected the rest of my system. Plus, they wanted to charge me over $1500, just for the "simplest" plan of disconnecting the panel. Citadel was tasked with replacing the roofs in my condo complex. On a daily basis, the trash and debris were not cleaned up properly. Citadel tore off the gutters in the process and did not replace them. Several units have water leaks inside after the roof replacement, and Citadel can't be bothered to send anyone out to inspect or fix the poor work. Dominic came out to commission my system. He was very professional and easy to talk to. If it weren’t for him I would not be giving such a glowing review. The installers missed a step and even though my system looked like it was live for six months I was not producing any energy. Dominic fixed it and now I am a happy camper. Also, Citadel made it right by my not having use of my system for six months.
