All of your instincts about buying kitchen cabinets on the internet are correct - I do not recommend Cliqstudios at all. The poor communication I've experienced has created issue upon issue and endless frustration both for me and my builders. I provided Cliq with the correct dimensions for my kitchen, however my designer misinterpreted them and designed my kitchen as being four inches longer than it is. First the positive(s), the design process was simple and of very good quality. Similarly, customer service is very empathetic and apologetic to the failures of the company. Finally, the company does use better materials to build its cabinets. With that said, the quality of the build and the finishing lacks in comparison with competitors that provide solid wood cabinets with dovetail and soft-close. We recently did a gut renovation of our new home and regret using Cliqstudios for our cabinets. Their complete lack of quality control on cabinet production, our designer's lack of expertise and poor customer service created a time delay in our project, thus creating extra cost, which they did not cover. Working through Cliqstudios and the designer that was assigned to me (Wendy M) was great. Wendy was of great help and really helped me refine my kitchen remodel project until I was happy with it. I found the pricing to be fair compared to local cabinet companies and their custom color options were the reason why i decided to move forward with Cliq. CliqStudios offers high quality design assistance followed up by delivery of quality cabinetry. I started with a basic design and they helped refine that. Then after a few tweaks and a lot of measuring, I got to a point with my design pro at Cliq that I was comforable in ordering. After 6 weeks the cabinets arrived. I did a basic inspection then stored the cabinets in garage. There were a few missing pieces that the shipping company lost. I have mixed feelings using this company. The cost of the cabinets was reasonable. My experienced kitchen contractor said the cabinets were well made with a major exception being the paint job. The navy paint seems to flake or scratch off rather easily. Under the navy is a while primer that shows when the navy comes off making it even more noticeable. The Good. - Drawers and doors are rock solid. - Excellent hinges and drawer glides. - Candice was very responsive. Very disappointed with Cliq. Our kitchen project was delayed by several months because our cabinets kept arriving damaged. The only thing that was offered (besides new cabinets over and over) was a refund for one cabinet that came damaged 5 times. We ended up having to keep that cabinet because we just needed to get our kitchen finished. Cliq cost us so much time and money. What a horrible decision we made. We already e-mailed customer service to express our dissatisfaction and got no response. Horrible.
The designer was forgetful, not timely, ate up an extra couple weeks in my timeline... you better know what you're doing, what you're looking to accomplish, and you better be a GREAT proofreader. Repeat 'final' versions and I finally have almost what I wanted to order. For the wasted $200 in extra fillers, I can't be bothered to email yet again or spend time on the phone explaining the plan. We'll see what arrives....
