I tried shopping for a container on FB marketplace. There appeared to be lots of good deals but it turned out most of them wouldn't let me see the container before purchasing because they were located out of province. Other sellers were just unresponsive and wasted my time. When I contacted Coast everything was easy. They let me see what I was buying and arranged the delivery, all at at a reasonable price. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I will probably buy another one feom Coast in the future.
I payed $5750 for this delivered. Tried to refuse delivery and they were going to charge me $1400. They said technical it's waterproof and that's all they promised me.
Excellent to deal with in every step of the process. Just purchased a 20 ft from the Prince George yard. Also a big thumbs up to Ron's Towing who looked after delivery even in the midst of a snow storm. The driver even assisted in getting the container leveled on very unlevel ground before he left!
Purchased 2- 40ft high cubes. Both came in good condition with working doors. Only reason they don't get 5 starts is because the online purchase system the reason I went with the company doesn't work in Alberta and the yard to view the containers is in no way set up for people to view them. Honestly suggest they make other arrangements for viewing than sending people to that yard. But in the end I got containers in working condition at a fair price. Unfortunately, Coast Containers and its sister company Van Isle Containers have provided terrible service and product. I purchased two 40 foot high cube containers in July 2023. The seller promised they would be water tight despite me noting several welds in one containers roof. The logistics regarding delivery were poorly organized, with Coast Containers not passing the information on how to reach our site, which is without a civic address, to the trucking and crane team.
