Was looking forward to setting up a 1:1 training class as advertised on their website. Filled out the form on their website, did not hear back. Called and left a message, no call back. Called again, and was told that it was too cold (it was during winter), and to try again in a couple months. Fair enough. Fast forward to summer, tried filling out the form, but did not hear back. Bill was a great instructor. Very informative. I really learned a lot from this class. I am also glad I got in before the law changes to require an 8 hour class!
People should be aware that this course contains a sales pitch for their legal defense company which sounds like a multilevel. That pitch added about an hour to the length of the class. The second part of the class describing the parts of a firearm and safe handling procedures was gone over very fast and in a perfunctory manner. I would consider this to be a very basic class and I hope people go beyond it and get hands-on firearm training as I have done previously. She made class enjoyable when it could have been a boring class. She did a great job going through the basics of gun handling, what to do and not do I'm an emergency situation. Peggy was great and I highly recommend checking her out! She knows her facts!
The instructor (Bill) was very well versed in the law and used many realistic, common sense scenarios to explain things. He gave good advice and knows his material inside out. Excellent class! I am very pleased with my experience and highly recommend this group.
