Was looking forward to setting up a 1:1 training class as advertised on their website. Filled out the form on their website, did not hear back. Called and left a message, no call back. Called again, and was told that it was too cold (it was during winter), and to try again in a couple months. Fair enough. Fast forward to summer, tried filling out the form, but did not hear back. Bill was a great instructor. Very informative. I really learned a lot from this class. I am also glad I got in before the law changes to require an 8 hour class!
People should be aware that this course contains a sales pitch for their legal defense company which sounds like a multilevel. That pitch added about an hour to the length of the class. The second part of the class describing the parts of a firearm and safe handling procedures was gone over very fast and in a perfunctory manner. I'd previously taken the CCW course with another group but felt like it was more propaganda and sales than information and instruction. I'm so glad I went with Colorado Handgun Safety for a refresher. James was an amazing instructor who clearly presented info about gun safety, rules of engagement, our legal system, and the need for continued education/training to be a responsible gun owner. It was just what I was looking for. Highly recommend!
She made class enjoyable when it could have been a boring class. She did a great job going through the basics of gun handling, what to do and not do I'm an emergency situation. Peggy was great and I highly recommend checking her out! She knows her facts!
