Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Case workers are excellent at what they do. I have given friends and community members rides to the clinic several times. I had the pleasure to get to know Damaris and have been continuously impressed with how she goes above and beyond to support clients and help them get connected to resources. It gives me hope to know we have people like this in our community.
Today Feb 16, I had an appointment at this clinic that I confirmed two times and they have texted me multiple times regarding this appointment to attend. I arrived, after driving 12 miles in a rainy afternoon and the doctor wasn't there. I think that is a lack of responsibility and empathy because the receptionist told me they had called me and left a message cancelling. But no message and I show her my phone with no messages. This review is for Damaris Aldana, who is probably the best case manager in the world. If it weren't for her I don't know where I would be in life. She has helped me towards getting my life in order in so many ways and has always done so with a smile. From appointments to food, shelter, and transportation, shes always there with a smile on her face. I'm thankful to have her.
If based solely on my experience with my therapist Lindsay (I'm not sure I can give her last name here), I would have to say 10 stars... a few of her obvious, incredible traits are: she is very accommodating, she is patient, she manages to be straight forward and upfront but also down to earth, she is empathetic and sincere, and truly just an all around genuine human being. I'm grateful with Davis community clinic because of them i met my Case Manager Dámaris Aldana. She saved my life as i was dying of too much alcohol consumption. Dámaris cares for her patients and the community. Without her it would have been impossible. She has got me food and got me back on my feet. Communicate ole is very lucky and I'm too.
