Dr. Barbounis is a great doctor. He listens to you as a patient and never makes you feel rushed or intimidated. I was referred to him by another medical professional who is a close friend. I have not been disappointed. I had a foot surgery in 2023 that was botched by another surgeon. Thought I’d have to live with the pain and stiffness for the rest of my life. The office visit was timely and the office staff efficient and friendly. Dr B was professional and put me at ease during my appointment. Dr B responded to my questions and took time during the appointment so that I did not feel rushed. I would absolutely recommend Dr B to others.
I stopped in while on a walk with a sore foot. The receptionist (Melody?) was very welcoming and said there was an open appointment in 15 minutes! No time like the present, so I scheduled it. I waited maybe 20 minutes and was taken back for X-rays of both feet by an associate. Dr. Barbounis came in the room about 10 minutes later and listenend to my issues, reviewed my x-rays with me and developed a treatment plan. Such a pleasant staff that greets you when you arrive. Neither visit had a long wait to see the doctor. Quickly took care of my problem.
Dr. Barbounis was so thorough. I had x-rays done on my foot at Lee Health and the Dr said she didn’t see anything wrong. I was in a lot of pain. Went to Dr. Barbounis, he found I had 2 stress fractures! They put a soft cast on it and I was in a boot for 4 weeks. I cannot say enough about the entire staff! Everyone I encountered was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this team!
