These were top flight professionals from day one. Had a very contentious divorce process with my ex and the honesty, integrity, and professionalism were very much appreciated when I compared my lawyer to the one my ex was working with. The law firm of Cordell & Cordell's advertisement tries to convey that the "advocate for fathers." The only thing they like is taking your money and doing pass-through work at best. My initial attorney left the firm a month after I filed for the dissolution of marriage to start his own practice. I was then assigned Kevin Stoner. I feel my attorney did not advocate for me whatsoever. I feel he did not listen to me or my concerns at all. Facts, nothing but the facts here. I will merely share my experience and let you decide for hiring this firm. I had a great relationship with my children, not my wife. When I approached my wife for divorce she promised to turn my children against me and have them hate me. I contacted Cordell & Cordell and interviewed them. One star is too much for this firm of cheats. Do not use this firm. They are terribly expensive, horrible service and my attorney had no clue what he was doing in court. I lost everything. Now bankrupt, no parental rights and a $3,213 a month child support payment. Oh and I am a mechanic so that $3,213 is over 80% of my income. Please please please use another firm if you need help.

Here are some red flags for choosing a lawyer: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/laurie-giles/red-flags-that-you-hired-_b_894906.html 1st meeting, they gave me a starting cost of $1800. Later email conversation (not hired yet), I told them the pretrial and trial date. They gave me a starting cost of $5000 because the trial would be within 90 days. I offered to come in a day earlier (91 days) with payment of $1800 and they disregarded their 90 day rule and insisted that I pay $5000 up front. Almost feel like I need a lawyer just... read more
