Sanders Patton was my attorney and he did a great job for me. My case wasn't big money but I feel like I still got the attention I needed and I thought the hours billed were fair. I had an uncooperative spouse and it complicated things but Sanders worked his way through it which was no small task. I have no complaints.

The attorneys and staff and the Des Moines Cordell & Cordell office were of the highest caliber during a difficult time in anyone's life they provided great support and advice. I did not feel that the attorney I was working with was trying to force me one way or another, but rather was a partner in the process who provided great insight as things unfolded and kept me abreast of things throughout the whole process. I heard a Cordell & Cordell ad on the radio during an obviously difficult period of my life. Let me tell you, I'm glad I set up an appointment with their lawyers! The place is like family; while they exhibit the utmost professionalism, they take time to get to know you, they address you like a person and not necessarily just another client. The lawyers are transparent about expectations and will work with you on whatever strategy you'd like to pursue. Biggest waste of money I've ever spent. My "attorney", Stephen Babe, was utterly and completely worthless. On top of the thousands of dollars he charged leading up to the court date he also demanded almost $10k for the two days in court or he'd withdraw. When we actually got to court he was very antsy and fidgety, almost like someone who had too much Adderall. Absolutely worthless. Screwed my case, took forever to respond contrary to their promises, then bills the hell out of you. You'll spend thousands fixing what they've done while they charge you interest on what they billed you.

Horrible Attorney's with no ethics regarding billing. Over promise to only under deliver. Hourly rates are not equal with the quality of Attorney.
