It was stressful situation that I was going through. sometimes the facts can go against you but it does not always mean you are guilty. If I could give negative stars, that would not be enough. Avoid this overcharging, condescending slacker. She will drag your case out just to bill but yet will do no work. She avoids opposing council's emails.

I used Nancy shannon years ago and what a waste of time and money. They prey on parents that will pay anything to get a fair custody. She charges me around 12/14k and I never went to court once. She was just burning up my money. I hired Steve Delaney and I had half custody a few months later. I can't say enough how horrible Cordell& cordell is. All I can say is you would prob be better off with any other company.

Worst experience I have ever had with a business. They had no problem taking my money and then not returning phone calls or emails. I didn't hear a thing after my initial consultation and retainer fees. Please find somewhere else. It's bad enough getting screwed my your soon to be ex. You don't need to get screwed by your own attorney either.
Being generous with one star! "A partner men can count on" is completely FALSE! Save your money & do NOT hire Cordell & Cordell, unless you want to do majority of the paperwork, get overly charged for their piss-poor service, and essentially lose your case because they cannot properly provide facts before the judge! Mainly got bent over twice -- once by Cordell & Cordell and next by the judge because the lawyer did NOT do her job properly! Save your money and your time. I cannot believe a law firm that advocates fathers rights could be so criminal. They extort money from people trying to right a wrong. They definitely do not have a clients best interest at hand. I had used this legal team once before for a false protection order, and was cleared with ease. The attorney at that time did wonderful, and that is why I came back for my divorce and custody. What a huge mistake that was.
