⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited this Costa Coffee in Birmingham city centre while staying nearby for a meeting. It was a fantastic experience — the coffee was excellent and a perfect way to freshen up my morning. The atmosphere in the shop is warm and inviting, and I truly enjoyed my time there. Been here a copule of times and enjoyed the nice location. However, we received poor, unprofessional service having ordered Too Good To Go bags. Waited an extra hour in town just to get these bags at 3pm only to be told there were none. They had not cancelled bags until we turned up asking for them. Zero concern on their part and no apology. That has put me right off the place tbh.
Staff is not that welcoming 3/5, coffee and sandwich is okay to good, but location is an ideal stop for a quick coffee or a relaxed break after a walk.
Absolutely must try the seasonal maple & hazel range. I had the hot chocolate one and it was DELICIOUS!!! The staff were a bit busy talking amongst themselves and felt slightly put off but still polite and courteous. The area was amazing too and appreciated inside and outside options. Overall wonderful time had waiting for others in the SeaLife centre.
Miserable lady serving. Unhelpful and rude. Also was cursing prospective customers that were walking by saying to make staff member they better not come in here I’ve cleaned the floor! Swore at a customer that had just left as he had made a mess. Didn’t know anything about any of the special hot chocolates being served that we had only a day ago at a costa near our home. Won’t be visiting again, we only went in there as we had been to the sealife centre. Staff need looking at as this lady was totally vile!
