I absolutely love stopping by this Costa for my morning coffee! Jacob, in particular, is always so friendly and makes the most amazing drinks. He's seriously the best barista I've ever encountered, always remembers my order and has a smile for everyone. The atmosphere is great, and the service is consistently top-notch thanks to staff like him. I always leave feeling energized and happy!
Lovely visit today. Jacob was warm and welcoming despite having a long queue and doing multiple tasks at once to ensure service was swift. He wished me a happy birthday too when i asked to redeem my birthday gift. His colleague was also working hard to make everything as fast as possible. I hope they don’t have to work at that pace all day!! Anyhow well done chaps, you are doing a fab job together and i will come again for a lovely coffee.
Usual Costa experience food and drink wise, with friendlier than average staff. Two stars only due to dreadful toilet facilities for disabled. Toilet seat hanging off one fitting, toilet roll dispenser hanging off one screw or fitting, could do with a good clean. Nobody should have to use a toilet like this, never mind someone who may have the additional challenges of a disability. No time to raise with store staff due to travel commitments. Don't sit near the door if it's cold outside. The door jams on the flooring, people don't close it, so it cold and breezy. You might as well be sitting outside 🥶🥶🥶🥶. GET IF FIXED COSTA!!!! Also, turn the music down - it's far too loud to have a conversation. Otherwise it's just like any other Costa. Does get busy which means slow service.
I love this branch in particular. It has a different atmosphere and delicious coffee with cinnamon, but it needs to clean the seats and the bathroom is dirty Likewise, forks and knives need to be washed more than once. I take a fork and a knife and scrub it
