Went in around 10am today and was served by two lovely workers. I asked about having my Velvetino decafe as other branches have said no. The worker was so helpful and made it how I had requested. Lovely coffee to start the day! 😊
I’ve been a regular customer at Costa-St. Mary’s branch ever since my Uni started and it has always been great being to this place however my experience yesterday was horrible. The tall guy (barista) was not only rude but also very unwelcoming. Cafes are meant to be a place where you can sit and have a good time which is majorly influenced by the people around. I recommend you ask the same tall guy to be more inclusive and not be unwelcoming to customers that are actually not locals but international. He went on being so nic... read more
Breakfast deal . Bottle of Oasis . Medium Oat Latte with 2 shots of Vanilla & 2 slices of toast with butter and Marmalade . Delicious . I licked the plate & only £9.34 for all . Set me up for the day . Nice and peaceful , sitting amongst the commuters 😃😃😃
The customer service is horrible, the tall guy was really rude and he didn't not say hello or thank you. Coffee shops are meant to be welcoming where people can actually sit and enjoy but we decided not to sit there but the staff was so rude.
I would have given 4 stars because the place was clean, the seats were cosy and the desserts were dislplayed beautifully. But the customer service could have been a bit better. My friend asked for an Americano with milk...but they forgot the milk so she had to leave the table to go and get it. The lady who took my order coughed (in a post Covid world, who knows, right?) but she wasn't wearing a mask. Not terrible service, just not brilliant. But my Americano was good: strong, good flavour and not too hot.
