My roommate and I had a wonderful experience with Ella Katz when applying and signing a lease for an apartment. Throughout the entire process, she was very responsive and helpful. She always answered any questions we had and was very detailed/supportive during every step of the process. I would 100% recommend working with her, especially considering how hectic finding an apartment in NYC can be.
Amazing and smooth leasing process with our agent, Nart! Super professional but also a rare leasing agent/company that actually cares about their future tenants. This management is shady. They really do not give two crap about the tenants’ living condition. In the 10 out of 12 months we lived there, there was horrible construction noise in the floor below us that the management never warned us about. They only sent out an email acknowledging that there was a construction at all to residents two whole weeks AFTER people started calling to complain. After trying to work with 20+ other brokers that were unhelpful and unresponsive, working with Ella Katz made the apartment rental process as easy as it can possibly be. Dalan became the building manager for my apartment two months after I moved into the building. They claim to leverage an app for maintenance requests, however, any submissions are ignored, then will be moved to “closed” without a fix / just delete your ticket entirely. This was the case with all of the maintenance requests I have submitted. If you escalate via email, it will require 20+ emails before you get a response.
