The reason I decided to become a Medical Assistant was so it could help me get the medical experience for my nursing career. This program has helped me a lot by teaching me the different duties that a MA performa as well as the processes to them. I would take the reviews with a grain of salt, I was offered a gift card to take down my negative review Once I said no, they rescinded the gift card offer 😂 If someone else would’ve wrote an honest review, I could’ve spent my money on something useful. I will give 2 stars because the opportunity isn’t terrible if it’s exactly what you’re looking for but if you’re jumping into a new career, think twice. I wanted to become a medical assistant because I want to get into the medical field. I’ve learned several skills such as back office and front office. My favorite part of this program is how attentive the instructors are for us to actually understand what we are learning. This program has impacted my life because I now have medical skills and look at the medical field differently. I would recommend this program because I’m actually learning a lot of things and skills.

DMAS has the BEST instructors! I don’t know what I would have done without my instructors, Miss C and Miss Tammy at the Irving location. They pushed me to be out my comfort zone and taught me everything I needed to know going into the Medical Assistant Field. I was able to complete my externship, passed my CCMA exam and get a job soon after. The program is worth the price and more. If you’re thinking about it, just do it! You won’t regret it and more opportunities await at the end.
