TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

It was my first time here. The menu was simple, and the food was great. The staff was excellent, helping with the order and checking in as we were eating. It is a well-maintained store with an airy and bright ambiance.
Genuinely exceeded expectations for a chain restaurant. Ordered the double slider with fries meal. The chicken tasted awesome, the fries had a nice season, the portion size was perfect. The management and guys running the place were genuinely great as well. Plus is was decently affordable. Would absolutely come back the next time I am in the area.

Ordered slides and tenders with a friend, and the food was great! Definitely would recommend this spot, and make sure you add cheese to your sliders. I enjoy spice, so extra hot is what I go with, but if you can't handle spice, mild is probably the best choice, and reaper is available for high spice tolerance.
It was my first time eating Dave's Chicken. I chose Reaper for both of my orders because I'm a spice addict. After opening the box... Holy! The smell is pungent. I've eaten spicier foods before so I can definitely handle it. My brother on the other hand, let's just say he had problems in the restroom. 😅 For an average American, you'll die.
