TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We were at the restaurant yesterday, as my son wanted to eat their sliders with the fries. He loved it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, food was done in 5 minutes. Personally, I didn’t like the atmosphere that much, the restaurant is a street graffiti inspired location with uncomfortable heavy red metal chairs. I went to Dave’s again to try their extra spicy option to see if it truly packed a punch. This time, it had a noticeable kick and matched my taste preferences much better than my previous visit. Aside from the food, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, making the experience even better. Definitely recommend this place.
Amazing food, loved the sauce and the chicken was nice and fresh. Plenty of seating and a really nice terrace to enjoy the view. Customer service was very good by Brenda she is a credit to the company, explained everything well and helped us to choose what we wanted. I would recommend this place
My daughter's review of the place as I don't eat chicken: I ordered the medium chicken tenders and the not spicy chicken tenders which were delicious the chicken tasted fresh and it wasnt coated in oil like other chicken places i ordered 3 tenders but I recommend getting 2 because they're really big and 3 is a lot it was very crowded but it only took about 7 minutes for our food to be ready which I really liked, the places design was amazing not like any other restaurants and it'll definitely catch your eye even if you're j... read more
Mar 2025: my second visit and these guys still serve the same good taste. However I can say that it's a bit full of spices that covers the taste of the chicken but this is what they are good with. However it's much better that Raising cane's since the chicken is not that oily. There is a good welcoming approach from the staff, which I liked better than my first time.
