TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

It was pretty good, although a little pricey. The hot was hotter than I'm used to, it was good but I definitely needed a tissue towards the end. Next time I'll try medium. Great service and the manager was really kind. Oh, and the pickles were awesome and plentiful!
Neat place! Food was great! Large portions. I ordered the #3 which was a tender (that is huge), sandwich and fries for around 13-14 bucks. Easily shared this meal with my kiddo. The pickles were amazing! Not sure if they normally come on the side but ours had some on the sandwich and side. Definitely will be trying again!
We came here in our way out of town from the nearby water park and it hit it out of the park. The kids were a little sad to be heading home and this was the perfect last thing to do together The dining room is very clean and open, not that large. You walk up and order counter style. I was so excited to hear that Dave's chicken was in colorado. We dove down and were not let down. The chicken was delicious, and the staff was amazing. All told me their name and said, "Please let them know if I need anything." The only downside is how fast the table seating gets full. I was even blown away they had a drive thru. I have to admit, this was some phenomenal food. I got the two strip basket with seasoned fries. One hot strip and one extra hot strip and I'll tell you what, it was excellent. Just as they claim the strips were hot and spicy, crunchy, juicy and all of the adjectives you can think of.
