I was so excited to hear that Dave's chicken was in colorado. We dove down and were not let down. The chicken was delicious, and the staff was amazing. All told me their name and said, "Please let them know if I need anything." The only downside is how fast the table seating gets full. I was even blown away they had a drive thru. I am obsessed with birdcall, so when someone told me this place was better, I had to try. I think my standards were high when I finally made it. For me, I was not impressed this visit. We paid 37$ for 2 meals which was a little high in my opinion. The fries were way too salty and my chicken tasted like a dry rub with a lot of cheyenne pepper in it. I ordered the extra hot... which surprisingly was extra hot. They definitely have the hot chart correct. I will eventually go back and try the hot cauliflower sandwhich.

Dave's Hot Chicken makes good food and every time I've gone inside it's been great. Decided to try the drive through tonight and it was pretty dead (one car ahead of me at the window) and the inside didn't look very busy. I got my order pretty quickly which was nice and I didn't check it (I guess that's my bad) but it was comically incorrect: Not only was it not my order, it didn't even match the order that was on the receipt that was attached to the box. It was our first time here and Jasmine was awesome! Was very knowledgeable on everything and told me I had to sign a waiver for the Reaper heat. The reaper is no joke! Amazing food and great atmosphere! Thanks guys!

My husband and I have been on the search for food hot chicken sandwiches and couldn’t find it anywhere.. before we discovered Dave’s Hot chicken. It was so so yummy and we plan to come back very soon. Be careful about the spicy level you choose, it creeps up on you!
