This was a highly anticipated fast food experience for me. It was extremely packed and decided to go for a takeaway and I was concerned about the food being cold and dry by the time I got home, but no it surprisingly remained warm. Don't believe the hype. Got a slider with a fillet mild spice. Chips, added cheese and a chocolate captain crunch milkshake. Chips were good, gherkins were refreshing. The chicken, though cooked perfectly, the seasoning was so salty I couldn't finish it. Really horrible. Tried my friends spicy fillet too and that was too salty, masked by spice but still salty af. THE HYPE IS NOT REAL! Let me be clear: the hype around this place is just that—hype. Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait long since I went after the initial rush, and the line was manageable. Went around 11.30pm on Fri 18th April. Sole UK branch a bit disappointing compared to the ones I've been to in the USA - which were excellent. Tables were gross - 'cleanliness today was a bit of an issue'. Staff seemed laid back and didn't care. The tenders (hot) were on point and tasted amazing with the Dave's sauce. But that was about it. The slider was so so. Fries so so too. Management from USA need to pay this sole UK branch a visit.
Food was delicious, warning about Reaper spice level its no joke! Definitely would recommend on your visit to London. Its super busy after 4/5pm so heads up might not have places to sit and may need to take away. Even if there is a queue have no fear it moves super fast and the staff are all efficient and nice considering the business of it all.
