First time coming here and tbh I had no idea what to expect. Walking in the different colored light bulbs and the walls were painted really cool. The mascots a bit funny looking but what matters to me is the food and how friendly the staff is. The workers were very helpful and friendly, Charlotte helped me out A LOT. Excellent food. Spice is a fully customizable intensity dry rub and quite pleasant in the lite mild format. Dave's sauce is zesty & sweet. Definite mustard undertones but not overpowering. Chicken is crisp & juicy inside. Portions are ever so slightly underwhelming. From the chicken on the bun, to the fries and even the cheese cup... it was like 80% of what my gluttonous self expected. Delicious chicken sliders. They are very well seasoned, crispy and juicy. Lots of different spice options which is nice. The crinkle cut fries are nicely seasoned too. Service was very fast and friendly (on opening day!).
Robin was so friendly and nice and we had such a warm welcome the first time i came here but today this time, do not come here if you are on time limit. even with ordering ahead i had to wait in the store an extra 10 min after the time it said it would be ready with the sign telling me it was ready also there is no body in the store eating and like 6 workers but they’re all in the back
I’ve been to every Dave’s hot chicken in Wisconsin. And I can confidently say that this Dave’s is the best one I’ve been too BY FAR. I’ve loved Dave’s since the day I put it in my mouth and I’ve been diehard fan for the meals. Dave’s is my fuel. The art at this establishment is something of a masterpiece. The last time I saw a wall painted like this was at the Sistine chapel in Italy. I love it with all my heart. Always the nicest people.
