Dave’s Hot Chicken is a refreshing change from the usual fast-food fried chicken options like KFC or Slim Chickens, and I went in genuinely curious to see what the hype was about. We had some delicious loaded fries and milkshakes here after the cinema recently. The place is clean and has a cool vibe. The prices are a bit higher than other chicken takeaways but this is easily justified by the superior quality. The signature and honey sauces were both very tasty.

Heard good reviews about this place so we decided to give it a go. Had to wait a while to order at the self order terminals as there were only two. The people in front of us were undecided on what they wanted to order so made the wait longer. Not sure why as the menu is only small. Once we placed our order the food arrive quickly. I have visited Dave’s in London and Birmingham and have always been impressed. The food and service here wasn’t as good. The tender in my slider was quite small compared to what I have gotten at the other stores. The lady who served at the till here in Manchester was so nice, I wish I got her name to give her a mention. Unfortunately the lady wiping tables was not very nice! I asked her politely if she could clean our table and she responded quite abruptly.

Been multiple times and worth the price. Just as good as london branch. Meal number 3 is always the go to choice. Chicken is always moist and crispy, slider is peakkk. Chips are top tier, always fluffy inside and crisp on the outside. Daves sauce is good too. Mac and cheese is standard, nothing special. Toast is a slice of bread, still dont understand it.
