I’d heard so much about Dave’s Hot Chicken, so when I spotted it in the mall I had to give it a try. I ordered the 2 sliders with fries, plus the chicken bits with fries… both in mild along with a refillable soda. Ordering is done through kiosks, which was quick and efficient, and the food came out in no time. The place is spacious with comfortable seating, and I liked the way the food was served in baskets. First time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken and felt it was good but lacking in areas. Service was good and there was plenty of staff working. The chicken burger and tenders tasted good. Mac n cheese was forgettable and the pickles needed to be pickled. Big let down was the sauce, ketchup, mayo and some seasoning. It was basic and lacked everything. Absolutely delicious. Great quality chicken and it was such a fast experience.. food was ready in about 4 mins… loved it
Had Dave's Hot Chicken on opening day, have to say it is definitely worth the hype. Sure it's pricier and there were a few niggling issues but the food itself was a significant jump over KFC, Popeyes and Slim Chicken. The fries which I took home and it had gotten cold were still incredibly crispy and well seasoned. Going to try it sit in next time.
Extremely disappointing. I was at the store at 10:30 pm and the google says 11 pm closing but it was closed and when asked the manager it store in a very rude way replied that we close at 10pm . Our kitchen closes at 10pm . Looked like staff was having party inside with loud music and food all over the window . Never visting this store again .
