Dave’s Hot Chicken just opened in Croydon, I had to try it! In place of the Five Guys, we got some seriously fried chicken and the infamously hot Reaper… So it is worth it? I would say yes! Everything was very tasty, from the thick and juicy chicken tenders, the clear star of the show, to the crispy fries, delicious dipped in Dave’s sauce. Saw this shop while walking in Croydon and we went in to give it a try. It was surprisingly good. The chicken tenders were moist and well seasoned. You have the option to select the level of hotness. It was mild for us but you definitely feel the kick of the spice. The staff as well were very friendly and accommodating. Amran and Tio were the ones who took our order. Overall, it was a great experience, great food. Will definitely come back next time.
The workers tio amram and dilan was very welcoming and friendly food was quick and tasty would highly recommend
Amran, Tio, and Josh make such an awesome trio! They are so respectful and their positivity really sets the tone for the whole atmosphere. It totally brightens my day!!!
The chicken tastes great and it’s crunchy but also succulent inside. I think the slider buns are too small for the size of chicken inside though. Macaroni was also very nice I think there needs to be some way of improving the wait time because I had to wait 18 minutes after ordering through the screen to get my food. That was mostly due to people ordering way too much for takeout so maybe limiting how much can be ordered on the screen would be good
