We were finally able to try this place after driving by for the last almost 3 weeks it’s been open. Every time we came (and different times of day) the line has been out the door. We were at least excited to see that because we thought with the line out the door every day, maybe the food was amazing. After trying it today, we can honestly say it was not worth the wait and was definitely way too hyped up. We stop by this place to check out a new restaurant and unfortunately was disappointed. The atmosphere was great but the price for the items ordered seemed overpriced for what you get and the chicken was lukewarm. If the food was hotter. maybe the whole experience would have been more positive.

I tried Dave’s Hot Chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely lived up to the hype. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the wait time—it took a while to get the food—but honestly, it was worth it. I would definitely go back again

The new restaurant itself is very nice beautiful paintings, a great set up. Customer Service was pretty decent as well. The attendance were very nice and helpful. The presentation of the food was OK, I had the 18 piece flight, Dave’s #3 on the menu which consist of one tender, one slider with a side of fries and a side of Mac n cheese. Personally, I don’t get the hype about Dave’s hot chicken. The food taste plain with minimal seasoning to their chicken even when it had sauce on it and the mac & cheese. First experience here and it was positive. The chicken slider was delicious. Fries were flavorful! Staff was very friendly. Definitely will be returning. It's nice to have something a little different here in Ft. Myers. Thanks Dave!
