I was excited when I drove by and saw there was a Dave’s Hot Chicken opening up near me since I’ve only heard good things. Did not disappoint, I placed an online order and the staff was very friendly upon entering and they were generous with sides/sauces. Food tastes great, well seasoned, crispy and reasonably priced for the portions you get.
The "tenders" are massive. Bigger than most places chicken patties. The size of a slice of white bread wide and thick. We got 3 spice levels to taste. Hot, med and mild. I didn't like the medium, but both hot and mild were delicious. The cheese stick is legit. Like the pizza commercials where the cheese keeps stretching. Very yummy and double-triple the size of a normal cheese stick. Very minimal side options. Milkshakes are okay. A great addition to the chicken places.
This is my 1st time here…. Although Chicago has 10 locations this dave’s hot chicken, i was 1st time went there. & this is absolutely worth it . Too spicy 🌶️ like Asian - Indian people ate. I love this , too hot 🥵 this is absolutely justified the shop’s nameplate 😀
GREAT CHICKEN From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the owner with a smile and a recommendation. The staff at the register were friendly, and welcoming. That was just the start, this food was top tier! The chicken was fresh and high quality, fries hot and crispy, hot Mozz stick had an incredible cheese pull. I wish I could give zero stars. Absolutely terrible experience. I’ve ordered here 3 times and every single time the portion sizes were ridiculously small for a $20 meal. This time they completely messed up my order and gave me chicken instead of cauliflower. Their online customer service is basically non-existent, and when I tried to get it fixed in-store, they made me wait 25 minutes for their mistake, which is ridiculous.
