I enjoyed my meal here. It was good food. The hot mozzos were the only disappointment. The chicken though was terrific. I also ordered for a friend the chicken sandwich with fries. I feel like they should increase the portion of the fries. The chicken is a tad pricey but I assume that’s coming with the brand name. I’d recommend people try this place. I think the reviews commenting negatively were likely from day one launch?
The staff was pleasant. The portions and the cost of 2 pieces of chicken and 1/2 a cup if that of mac and cheese was WAY over priced. The food was hot but not worth the money.
It’s my own fault for not listening to the poor reviews and trying to be optimistic… The daves big trio looked appetizing and to be great value, upon receiving it to say I was disappointed is an understatement. The portions for the price is deplorable, the cheese sticks were spongy as hell and soaked in oil and nowhere near what I thought I had ordered! Absolutely delicious! The meal at Dave’s Hot Chicken was packed with incredible flavor from start to finish. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of heat. Every bite was fresh, tasty and satisfying. The portions were generous and the quality exceeded my expectations. Update: it’s been a week, I reached out at the link below and provided my contact information to their team. Nobody has reached out and nothing has been done. They reply here to save face but do not seem to be interested in backing up their offer. Waited 1 hr 10 mins for a combo. I can understand being busy/popular, but setting expectations is important.
