I’m honestly surprised this place doesn’t have 5 stars across the board. A lot of the complaints about wait times seem unfair they just opened, they’re clearly busy, and the staff is doing the best they can. The food was a 10/10, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the wait, and I’ll be back.
Service was 3 star territory. Went during peak lunch hours on a weekday and the volume of food delivery service orders was insane. Not that many people inside waiting for food but they were backlogged from the sheer volume of pickup orders. Can’t really fault them as they’re still new and novel and have been slammed with customers. Food was a solid 4/5. Breading was a bit dry but the flavor was good. Food was absolutely amazing ! Everyone working was so kind and had great attitudes! We had Robert take our order and he was the best person to have as a great first experience. The people standing outside, the employees working the counter, the entire experience was great and we will absolutely be coming back. Worth the 1 1/2 hour drive!
Probably the most incompetently ran restaurant I’ve ever been. It’s been 32 minutes since we order ONE Dave’s meal. Other folks have been waiting longer than me. Do not come here until they know what they’re doing. Update- it’s now been 46 minutes since we ordered. Still no food. After 51 minutes we received the meal. Food was great, place is clean. Just plan on being there for an hour or more.
My son and his friends had been so excited for week's about this Dave's hot chicken restaurant opening. They even made an attempt to go here on what was supposed to be the original opening date only to be told it wasn't ready. Finally they go there after they themselves had worked all day for dinner only for their order to get lost, then have to wait for it to be remade, which took a total of two hours only to get home and find out it was still made wrong.
