Pretty disappointed with my visit to Dave’s Hot Chicken in Abbotsford. The chicken itself was decent, but some of the chicken bites had barely any breading on them, which made them pretty underwhelming. The biggest issue was the mozzarella sticks — they had basically no filling inside, just an empty shell of breading. For the price, I expected much better quality and consistency. Hopefully this was just an off day, but I wouldn’t rush back based on this experience.
Workers have no idea what they’re doing. The place is a complete mess, the food is actually not the same as it is in the states, and the cost? 25$ for two chicken fingers and 12 fries, unbelievable. I was looking forward to this place so much as it was getting built. But wow was I ever disappointed. Fernando’s, Mary Browns, Brownie’s Chicken are WAY better than this place. Good food and excellent service, especially from Khushi. She knew the menu, gave great recommendations, and was genuinely friendly. If u own a business you want an employee like her. The atmosphere needs work though,it feels like a depressing basement, with hollow sound effect. The drive-thru was also closed. Overall, great service but the ambience could be much better
Was so excited to try it and was really disappointed. The price is insane for the small amount of food that you get and we had to wait over 20 minutes for our small order. The viral mozzarella stick had little cheese and was heavily coated and over cooked.
It’s so terrible, don’t waste your money I got ripped off. At least if you’re going to make your food expensive, make it worth spending. It just ruined my appetite and the burger was so disgusting.
