To be honest, I was very nervous to go wedding dress shopping. It was something I had dreaded and put off for months. I knew I had to do it or I may not get my dress in time in case it had to be ordered. I decided I would start at David's Bridal to look around and try on some dresses. I was not the bride in this situation, but the maid of honor. My sister is getting married in October and we came here as our first stop in finding her the wedding dress of her dreams. And we did! About an hour and half later, we left with her dream dress! I believe it was Michelle who helped us, and she couldn't have been sweeter. She was helpful in helping my sister find the dress styles that she was looking for. A very good and fun experience.
Today, I ate my words and went to a bridal shop to look for my wedding gown. I arrived fully intending on bracing myself for "big girl" comments, as I am a 6 ft tall plus size bride, who had a baby in June, and is still working on losing the weight.
