My mom stayed here for therapy after a stroke. The bad: I've had some laundry go missing during her stay. A few night shift employees are too busy texting to check on patients but it's really dependant on staffing that day. The Good: their therapy program is fantastic and they offer plenty of events so the patients aren't bored. I'd also like to draw attention to two of the staff, Rosie and Brenda who are absolutely AMAZING with their patients. If you have a loved one staying here, HOPE Rose is the person on duty.

Recently my mother required a higher level of care and was admitted to The Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a registered nurse myself I was impressed by the quality care she received. The staff, from aides, to nurses, to dietary and housekeeping, all these folks were kind and professional. During my several visits over many weeks I always saw and heard the staff interactions with patients as being polite, caring, and respectful. Mom was very well ca red for. if you value your loved one DO NOT PUT THEM HERE!! dirty is being nice! most CNA’s r great others spend all there shifts on their phone!! had multiple meetings with the higher ups over it can’t wait till my dad is home!

My husband Will had to be in Delmar rehab for six weeks following hospitalization after an auto accident. It’s a wonderful place, with comfort, actually comparable to that of a good hotel, as I saw when I visited him nearly every day. We still miss the place! He got physical therapy and occupational therapy five times a week, in the on-site with amazing equipment and caring staff he was treated with love and respect at all times: he dealt with him as a person, not as a case number. for the love of anything that you hold dear to your heart, Do not send your family to this horrible place. It was dirty, it smelled like Marijuana and urine. The bathrooms were disgusting. They had no showers and the nursing call button did not function in my brothers room. Be aware that they will try to call Adult protection Services,if you try to discharge a patient.
