My brother was a resident at this facility for 10 months and there were multiple incidents that were cause for concern, but the events surrounding his transfer to the hospital were truly heartbreaking! 💔 . The Delmar center for nursing and Rehabilitation this place I recommend to family to be very careful sending Love ones there , there is no compassion with a lot of their staff Administration and Social Worker Department. This place is the worse they refuse to meet with family to discuss any concerns Nursing Staff always shortages Always using Agency Staff to cover the unit and alot of the times only have one Aide. I spent 40 days at this horrific facility. Understaffed, unprofessional, rehab patients mixed in with nursing home demented patients who wander in and out of others rooms. An old building, heaters in the rooms ringworm properly...50 degrees at night and told there were no blankets available. Wound care bandages had to be supplied by my family since this facility didn't have any on hand. All concerns brought forward to the management team went unresolved, request for the PA on site took 3 days respond. The food was terrible... read more

This place is evil,the owners are being investigated by the attorney General,just Google centers healthcare and the horrors that have been documented in the name of profits and the attorney general's investigation;the vile nature of their business model is clear to see.Its inhumane how people are treated,especially the most vulnerable. From the beginning I was scared and some what nervous. As my week's turned into months I became more relaxed and the staff became more like family. The physical therapist occupational therapist , and the CNA aides worked endlessly to get you mentally prepared. My aide was Barb who took Care of me from the very beginning, she would see something in me that I couldn't see in myself at that time.
