I believe there is some dishonesty concerning cavities. I have been consistently visiting the dentist for years. However, after moving to this clinic, during my second appointment, they recommended another X-ray, claiming that I have cavities. I asked them if it is standard practice to get an X-ray every time I visit, and why they did nothing with the ones they took just a few months ago during my previous visit. I had no clear answer, so I left without accepting their suggestions. This feels like a total scam.
Having some issues with a mouth guard I need to order, but overall love the vibe here and the gentle care and work. My teeth now feel like they are in great shape, after many years of avoiding judgmental dentists. I also love the updated technology at this practice. It’s also great to be able to watch TV and have distractions during cleanings!
SUMMARY: They claimed that I had 2 cavities in need of filling when in reality I had 0. Beyond the fact that this was a terrible cleaning, where despite spending an hour in the chair, I was told I needed to come back 2 separate times for "deep cleaning", and they claimed that I had 2 cavities. This would have amounted to hundreds of dollars of dental work. My experience was really good! The assistant Kristina and the hygienist Nena were wonderful! They were both friendly and professional and made sure I was comfortable as much as possible. Dr. Ray made sure to answer any questions I had and explain it to me so I can fully understand, I feel very confident on letting him work on my teeth.
My experience was positive from start to end. I visited the Lakeview East location and received a warm welcome from Megan the receptionist. Nena, my hygienist was extremely thorough and explained each step of the process as we were going through it. Lastly, Dr.Saiyed topped it all off by answering all my questions and concerns and then also explaining each option for treatment.
