The couple running this Darrells mini storage they are the best! They saved me money by telling me about upgrading my storage. The lady showed such concerns for me when I was out in the heat. I love to pay my bill in person because I always leave there smiling!
an increase of the rates is ridiculous and the reason is it always goes up & I tell them about weeds and insects in there and nothing gets done

The manager at the location on Palm and Nees in Fresno needs some training on A) Customer Service, and B) how to tell time. When he tells you over the phone that you have to be at the facility 10 minutes before closing, and you show up 11 minutes before closing and his office is locked up and the gate won't work, there is a problem. Then his lazy, inconsiderate self emerges from his office and says we were late. Check the cameras fella!!! My truck is on satellite time so it wasn't off. I am extremely unsatisfied with the people that are running this location. Rude, rude, rude!! I have actually been hung up on by the guy! For asking a question. This new, younger couple are very unprofessional & very rude. I miss the former people that ran this place. I've had this storage unit for about 7 years. I would not recommend storing here to anyone. These new set of owners, specifically TONY ( female) is very rude. The older couple that was there for years were very sweet. I miss them, After this month I am done with derrels storage for good.
wow, the previous reviews are spot on! I called the number listed on the website (661) 871-5347 to inquire for more information and it first a busy line then when I called back 30 sec after it just kept ringing and ringing. This is already an poor indication of the customer service or shall I say lack of. Thanks Yelp users for the warning of not renting from this place! Today was wonderful. I got up early to pay the storage bill. I got to Derrels at exactly 7 a.m., when it is supposed to open. Guess what? I see the woman in the office as I'm walking up, in the rain, with my check in hand. I reach for the doorknob. Locked. I look at the time "7:03". I start knocking. No answer. I look through the window, she must've gone when she saw me coming? I start calling. No answer. Seven minutes after 7a.m., the guy drives up who works there.
