I used Desert Radiology last year and was very happy with their services. This year, I tried making an appointment and they have a new system. I have tried several times to make an appointment, and the three times I did connect with someone, there was at least a 25 minute wait (as seen in the screen shots). Once, after a 25 minute wait, the gentleman said he couldn’t hear me and hung up on me. I finally was able to make an appointment and the day of, it was cancelled due to the machine being down. The place is very clean., Did my MRI this morning and the technicians, Christopher and Teresa were absolutely amazing. All of them were amazing but this two are the best. Hopefully they will be my technicians again in my next visit. Thank you!!!
Greediest money grabbing imaging monopoly in Vegas. Currently on hold to schedule an appointment for the third time. First time: 40+ min wait and had to hang up to go to work; Second time: finally someone answered but the phone call dropped (from their end). It’s ironic to hear the messaging on the phone “we are upgrading our system to provide a better experience so please expect longer wait times.” They used to have medical staff in the office, then moved to a call center, then completely outsourced. Never go to any desert radiology place if you are the type of person to know what you will be paying for. The billing department never knows your estimate cost and will tell you to send an email. Nobody will respond to your email so most likely you’ll receive a surprise bill. I’m never coming back here. Didn’t realize how difficult it is JUST to receive an estimate!
I don't understand why, but every time I come here it just turns into a billing and insurance nightmare. The staff are friendly and I've never had a personality issue here, but my scheduling and billing has gotten messed up every time. Had an appointment cancelled once because they couldn't get the notes from the referring doctor and I had to go drive and get it myself and was told by my doctor that Desert Rad never called.
