On July 21st, I was scheduled for an MRI at Desert Radiology’s (DR) Centra Point location. This transaction called for the introduction of contrasting fluid. I was quite anxious, as a fair amount of people are when undergoing such a procedure. Facilities were great, exceptionally clean. The front desk person was immediately attentive and efficient, and the Ultrasound Tech Melissa's friendliness and competency in administering the examination made for a very pleasant experience. Both were thorough in giving explicit instructions from beginning to end during the process, respectively. As for the scheduling and check-in process, it was smooth and convenient through the easy links to forms sent through text. Would do again, 10 out of 10.

It took three phone calls for staff to actually find my ultrasound referral. Once it was found, I was asked (forced) to give an explanation or would not be able to receive the ultrasound. I've been using this facility for approximately 10yrs, and this is the first time I have encountered an issue. First, they could not find the referral for the ultrasound, then (while on hold) was hung up on, then I had to fully explain why the ultrasound was necessary. Very disappointed with Centra point, over a year of trying to schedule, my first appointment I almost left waiting area, it was 1.5 hours till they got me into the Dr. Then I was told they can help me, after weeks of no response back I called they needed more records so I drove to Vegas gave them to the record department. Once again no communication waited few more months to be told I have to come in for recent imaging, I scheduled it had images done. Went for a CT scan on March 25. Staff was friendly and I got called in right away. The CT was quick and the tech was very nice. The reason for the 2 stars is that it is now the 30th and my results are still not available on the patient portal. I don't know why it takes so long. I'm now at my doctor's appointment and there is no scan to see. I'll stick to Steinberg from now on. They have results the next day.
