I used Desert Radiology last year and was very happy with their services. This year, I tried making an appointment and they have a new system. I have tried several times to make an appointment, and the three times I did connect with someone, there was at least a 25 minute wait (as seen in the screen shots). Once, after a 25 minute wait, the gentleman said he couldn’t hear me and hung up on me. I finally was able to make an appointment and the day of, it was cancelled due to the machine being down. Greediest money grabbing imaging monopoly in Vegas. Currently on hold to schedule an appointment for the third time. First time: 40+ min wait and had to hang up to go to work; Second time: finally someone answered but the phone call dropped (from their end). It’s ironic to hear the messaging on the phone “we are upgrading our system to provide a better experience so please expect longer wait times.” They used to have medical staff in the office, then moved to a call center, then completely outsourced. I don't understand why, but every time I come here it just turns into a billing and insurance nightmare. The staff are friendly and I've never had a personality issue here, but my scheduling and billing has gotten messed up every time. Had an appointment cancelled once because they couldn't get the notes from the referring doctor and I had to go drive and get it myself and was told by my doctor that Desert Rad never called. The facility was very clean and the waiting time was short. Matter of fact, I arrived early and taken in 10 minutes before my appointment. Teammates were respectful and explained the process and time it would take for each exam.
Best , nicest people at desk , explained everything very nicely for test . Cared if I was comfortable . Could have used a hand to help me raise up as I’m 76 . But I realize when you’re young you don’t know it’s hard to raise up without a handle as you age . I was so pleased with the whole experience and I love how new and clean it all was as well .
