I had a little trouble filling out the information in advance on my phone, but this place is really awesome! The employees are very courteous, helpful, and efficient. It's also very clean. I wish where I worked was this clean! I also love all of the Albert Koetsier "X-rayology" paintings hanging in the hallway. It makes you get lost in the beautiful artwork and kind of forget about why you're there in the first place. Thank you, Desert Radiology!
If I could give negative stars for this place I would… they are the most unorganized chaotic place that steals your money. 1. They told me to arrive 20 mins before my appt time. I did and waited in line to check in the entire time. There was one girl checking people in and a line of about 15 people. 2. They didn’t bother to verify my insurance PRIOR to my appt. Highly recommend the Palomino location! No appointment was needed so I expected a long wait, which turn out NOT to be the case. Personel was professional, helpful and kind. Facility was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating.
Once I called and heard the automated message say X-Rays are walk in only, I looked up the nearest Desert Radiology and this location came up. Kayanna was very kind and inviting. After I filled out my paperwork Theresa called me over and gave me some paper to give to the radiologist. She was very sweet as well. Inna called me in to take my X- Rays and did it quickly with no hassle. I was in and out fast so I’d recommend this location.
I stopped using Desert Radiology a few years ago because their patient platform wasn’t great. I recently returned, and I am completely amazed at the improvement. From check-in to imaging, every staff member was extremely kind, compassionate, accommodating, and genuinely human—not cold or robotic like some other radiology companies. There was no wait at all, and I was even pleasantly surprised when a radiologist came in to speak with me personally, which made a huge difference.
