I had a little trouble filling out the information in advance on my phone, but this place is really awesome! The employees are very courteous, helpful, and efficient. It's also very clean. I wish where I worked was this clean! I also love all of the Albert Koetsier "X-rayology" paintings hanging in the hallway. It makes you get lost in the beautiful artwork and kind of forget about why you're there in the first place. Thank you, Desert Radiology!
I had an MRI guided breast biopsy here and I just have to say, everyone was incredibly encouraging and kind. The techs especially - they walked me through every step, encouraging me, rubbing my back during the tough parts, and just generally were wonderful humans amidst the procedure. I’m very grateful for them.
The MRI Tech was horrible! She asked me why are you having an MRI of your Brain? I said, I’m having an MRI of my C- Spine. She puts me in the tube and says 1st part is 30 seconds, ok … then she says okay, now just 2 minutes . I have my eyes closed, I think I can do anything g for 2 minutes. I counted out 2+ min slowly, then I recited the book of job and sang songs in my mind. I started to freak out because it was way over 2 minutes. Once I called and heard the automated message say X-Rays are walk in only, I looked up the nearest Desert Radiology and this location came up. Kayanna was very kind and inviting. After I filled out my paperwork Theresa called me over and gave me some paper to give to the radiologist. She was very sweet as well. Inna called me in to take my X- Rays and did it quickly with no hassle. I was in and out fast so I’d recommend this location.
I would give zero stars if I could. I went to this location for a biopsy and was blindsided at check-in. Despite having insurance that only required a $60 co-pay, they forced me to pay the full $570 + upfront. Since I had already taken time off work, I felt pressured to pay just to get the procedure done. The procedure itself was a nightmare and resulted in a painful hematoma.
