I will not rent a unit from Devon self storage!! I rented a unit on 12/19/2024 about noonish, paid $52.52 for a 10X5. I returned on the 20th to cancel because I couldn't get anyone to move me, I was told to call or go in on the 21st because the young man didn't know how to cancel. I went back on the 21st. as instructed and the young man called Jennifer (mgr) and she wasn't sure what to do either, she instructed her employee to do a move out. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE!! Horrible place to trust with your belongings to. This happened 2 years ago and it still pains my heart for everything that was robbed from me for their own mistake!!! They never did anything about it. I never received compensation, not even a formal apology for such un unjust experience. The general director said he would look into it and help me and he never responded back to me. They answer concerns through here saying they will do something about it but they actually don’t!!!! Don't be fooled by the good price...it's not worth it. Their customer service was non-existent. My credit card was stolen so my automatic payment failed. They could have been kind and called to remind me before they put the late fee on but they made sure to put the late fee on on the 6th and then call on the 7th. When I asked if somebody could possibly wave the late fee I was told but the assistant manager and general manager that was not possible.
