When debit card was compromised, it would take 5-7 business days to receive replacement. Jackson Heights branch doesn't have the equipment to make a new card at the branch. They also refused to waive an expedited $25 fee to obtain the replacement. I needed to call Access a ride and travel to Astoria to obtain a card. Astoria branch was extremely helpful unlike my "home" branch.

Instant Issue cards are only available in select branches. With online banking, you can view your card details the next day, which can be used while you await your physical card to arrive in the mail.
3 years have passed since the first review. Same story...they won't let my money transfer out in the 2-3 day range promised for wire out. Unecessary hold led to late payment for a real estate payment and subsequent penalty. Do not deposit your money here. Capital One 360 is a better choice.
I would give this bank no stars if I could. They specialize in allowing you to deposit money -- it can check in any time it likes -- but putting "holds" on it -- but it can never leave. Seriously, this bank and it's management literally misleads its customers. Even though checks now clear electronically, and typically in less than 24 hours, this bank puts holds on for as long as ten business days.
