The IOP program for this place is just terrible. During the group session we had 3 different therapists take over which seems too much to get any effective work done when the group is constantly rotating the therapist. I only went one time and I can tell right away that the therapists didn't care at all for the people in the group, they were just going through the motions. Before starting this IOP program, I was in a dark place. A choking incident with food left me with debilitating anxiety, daily panic attacks, and intrusive thoughts that made it impossible to show up in my life. My son started Discovery SD after completing another IOP virtual program and actually becoming worse. My son was not in a good place when beginning the program and did both the PHP and the IOP programs. The staff is absolutely amazing! Nick, Kara, Namde and Joe are the staff I had the most interaction with and were exceptional. The program also includes support for parents with multiple weekly meetings. The Discovery Mood treatment program made a world of difference in treating my daughter's anxiety. The intensive outpatient program and staff provided my daughter with a safe and nurturing environment where she learned skills to cope with daily triggers and manage her anxiety effectively.

If I were able to give this horrendous place 0 stars, I would. The way they treat those who do not progress at the speed at which they think they should, is disgusting. They are more worried about getting paid per patient that is in their program, than they are about helping their patients. They lie, cannot keep a consistent therapist per patient, do not communicate AT ALL with the parents of the teens in the program, and seem to just worry about the ones who are going to be success stories, instead of those who they are wat... read more
