Dogboy NYC is based on positive reinforcement training, which is pinnacle in dog training. Dog training is an unregulated industry and many people call themselves ‘trainers’ but are not properly certified. This is not the case with DogBoy NYC and we have been beyond impressed with their methods, ability to make progress and extensive post session feedback, as well as their projections for each of our dogs that they work with. I’ve worked with Robert a few times and have a handful more sessions scheduled. He is super patient with my leash reactive pup and my anxiety about her reactivity. He’s definitely helping to build both my dog’s and my own confidence with our walks on these over crowded nyc streets. I’m excited to continue to see her progress over the next several weeks!

I have worked with the Dogboy team for the last several years and they are great! Most recently I had partnered with him to help guide a foster dog with leash aggression. We've worked with Rob multiple times so far and he is a really fantastic person trainer (I say person because 90% of the behavior that needs modification is that of the humans. The dogs behavior change will follow suit). His approach aligns with our values which is based more around positive training instead of punishment-based. He's deeply empathetic to you and your dog...
