Professional. Courteous. Compassionate.
Straight up. I asked very normal questions about the surgery and he would give me dismissive 2-3 nonsense responses while I politely repeated myself until rolling his eyes and giving me an actual answer. This alone was enough to make him defensive about his expertise, saying 'I've been doing this 30 years' when I asked if he understood my question. I'm still recovering so I don't know if this man decided to take out his ego on my body. I hope he doesn't get the chance to with somebody else.
Incredibly condescending. I asked when its safe to spit again after surgery and he said 'never'. Kept acting like he didn't understand my questions or giving a nonsense response until i politely repeated myself 2-3 times. I didnt feel safe being unconscious around him until one of the female staff assured me i would not be left alone with him.
