Let me just say I've rediscovered the pleasure of applying makeup on my eyes after having upper eyelid surgery. I wanted this to correct the excess skin appearance that was making my eyes look tired and less open. I've gathered as much info about the surgery as I could, then I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Salomon and it all went smoothly since then. The tough part was after surgery, my eyes were so swollen and bruised, I looked like a domestic violence victim or something like that. These effects disappeared in about two weeks...that's almost the same time frame I needed to get rid of the stiffness sensation and the fact I couldn't look to the side with ease. My eyes didn't look asymmetric at first, it very important to be patient and wait for your eyes to heal, fortunately I was well aware of these post-operative effects and I wasn't really concerned, I just wanted healing to finalize as fast as possible. I covered the scars with makeup at first, but now they're really faded, thin and white, and they're concealed in the crease. I'm so pleased with my results, I look a lot younger now
