I left this appointment feeling really saddened and, honestly, a little embarrassed. I came looking for help, but instead I felt like I was a nuisance. Hearing that the provider "wasn't prepared" for my appointment caught me off guard, and I left feeling dismissed rather than supported and I was not taken seriously. I was reffered to Dr. Gustafson over a year ago by my family doctor to help with my peri-menopausal symptoms. My first time seeing her face to face she walked into my room, did not introduce herself and replied with "What. Whats wrong with you? I smiled at you earlier". I explained I didn't know who she was and said she doesn't have a name tag. She was surprised I wasn't on various medications despite me saying to her that I've tried them before and that they did nothing. Afterwards she asked me "well hows that working out ... read more
Dr. Gustafson went above and beyond to make sure I get thoroughly screened for breast cancer as my female side of family members has history of it. She is the only medical personnel who has my back to make sure I get appropriate preventive care. I feel empowered to have a doctor like her caring for my wellbeing.
Loved Dr Gustafson! She was kind, caring, knowledgeable and extremely down to earth. Made me feel comfortable from the moment she walked in to the room. Would highly recommend her!
I saw Dr. Gustafson for the first time today. I had a procedure done at her office that was done literally with 0 discomfort. She is an amazingly professional, caring and knowledgeable doctor. I can’t say enough of great things about her. I went to her office with a lot of anxiety about the unknown.
