⭐ Unacceptable and Costly Experience I had an extremely frustrating experience with Austin Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, specifically Dr. Matthew T. Popp. I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to find that Dr. Popp was completely unprepared and had not reviewed my file. A large portion of my appointment time was spent listening to apologies and explanations about not having time to review my records, which is unacceptable for a paid, scheduled medical visit. Had consultation for tooth extraction. He is very knowledgeable, caring, efficient, comprehensive, & definitely professional.
We had a great experience with Dr. Popp, who removed my daughter’s wisdom teeth. From the first consultation through the procedure and follow-up, everyone was friendly, caring, and reassuring. The surgeon took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my daughter felt comfortable and at ease. Everything went smoothly, and we got clear instructions for her recovery. Was worked in for an extraction that was causing pain We really appreciated it… it went very well..
Dr Popp ensured me the implant procedure would take thirty minutes and be relatively easy. While that struck me as optimistic, the entire process was so quick and uneventful that I found myself taking a selfie as they finished stitching me up. Great service and great care, provided by patient and thoughtful providers who answered all my questions thoughtfully.
