To me, Dr. Ayer is one of the best in the business! He explained to me what I needed, what he thought would help me fell better. He achieved that goal and thanks for that. I had a consultation a few days ago with Dr. Ayer and was very pleased to have chosen him. He was very professional yet very thorough with his exmination and recommendations. By far one of the best neurosurgeons I've ever encountered. This man spent 14.5 hours working on me, correcting the mistakes from at least five previous surgeries over the past 10 years. Anyone who takes their time and does it well deserves 5 stars.
Dr. Ayer and his staff are wonderful. He met my mom in the emergency department right before performing surgery and he was a calming presence during a very stressful time. He continued to see her through the ups downs until she was recently released from his care. Yay! It’s been a long road but we couldn’t have made it without Dr. Ayer, the nurses and the staff. Thank you for the caring support throughout this journey.
I saw Dr. Ayer on 12/05/25 at the APEX office in Swanee, GA. As always the staff was pleasant and courteous. The medical staff was attentive and engaging with my issues and concerns. It was a short wait until I met with Dr. Ayer. And as always he listened to my concerns and showed genuine interest of how he could present a better outcome for me. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Ayer as my surgeon.
