i visited Dr. Clemens' office to have a wisdom tooth removed and cannot praise them enough. It was a stubborn extraction and Dr. Clemens handled it masterfully, I had zero lingering pain after the procedure. They are friendly, knowledgeable, cost-effective and the good doctor himself even personally called to follow up later in the evening.
My general dentist said I had to have a molar removed so I did some research into reviews and found Dr Clemens. I had an initial meeting with him and his staff to discuss the effort. The front desk team prepared cost estimates and were very clear on how much of the cost was covered by Delta Dental (very little, but that's not the doctor's fault!) I needed a big surgery, including extraction, clean up and bone graft. Dr. Clemens did an amazing job. Everything went well and recovery was easy. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Title: Poor billing practices — billed 2 years after surgery with no prior notice I had oral surgery with Dr. Stephen Clemens. Two years after the procedure I received a phone call and then an unexpected invoice for $552.00 with no prior notice, itemized explanation, or attempt to resolve earlier. This late billing felt unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress. Communication and bookkeeping need major improvement — patients should not be surprised by charges years after care. I cannot recommend their billing practices.
I am amazed with Dr. Clemens work. I was scared to have my wisdom teeth removed, but I had the best experience. No pain at all. I recommend Dr. Clemens 100%. All his staff are very nice and welcoming.
