The staff at E. Roy Stone are exceptional, kind and caring. They truly care about the residents and family members which makes for a comforting, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Food services did a wonderful job preparing meals for the residents to ensure they were plentiful, healthy and on time. The aura of the facility just felt blessed with good people. The facility was clean and everyone there knew there why’s. These staff members are what makes the facility stand as strong as it looks and even stronger when coming across all of the things that are provided for the residents. HR (Ms Deandra) is a God send she knows all staff and residents and makes everyone feel comfortable and at home. I would definitely recommend this facility. Keep up the good work 💪🏽❤️

The staff is really nice the problem I have is; I haven't been there in almost 6 weeks and I found three different pieces of silverware at the foot of the bed. Table tray hadn't been wiped down after meal and there's some sort of chocolate sauce on the floor by his nightstand. Just need to do a better job of being cleaner! Fingernails haven't been trimmed since he's been there. Roommates bed alarm was going off and unfortunately the nurses aides and other staff didn't know how to shut off the bed alarm permanently! "I had a recent visit to Avalon nursing home and was impressed! The facility was bright and welcoming, with a fresh, clean scent throughout. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making our visit a pleasant experience from previous years being here . I noticed the building is brighter and felt very warm . Keep up the good work !

E. Roy Stone Veterans Pavilion has provided my dad with awesome care. However, since Avalon has taken over, trying to conduct business with them has been very frustrating. It is near impossible to reach anyone by telephone and they do not provide email as an alternate contact.
