Dr Marlena and the EBVC team provided an exceptional level of care for my highly anxious cat, Jack (and his anxious owner). Marlena was gentle and patient in his pre-procedure appointment and I felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. As a lovely touch, Marlena gave Jack a certificate of bravery after his appointment and even gave him a birthday cat-cake while he was recovering from his anesthesia. Its unfortunate to write a negative review for a clinic where we have had really good historical experiences. We have a dog who is diabetic, and has been brought back from the brink of death a number of times by the previous vets at EBVC. Some time in the last 12 months, the clinic was taken over by new ownership, and all of the vets left. Exceptional quality care and professional service always provided at East Bentleigh Veterinary Clinic. I have been taking my pets here for several years and have never been disappointed with the quality of care, compassion and level of expertise of the staff and Vets. I highly recommend this clinic. Keep up the great work everyone. You are valued and appreciated by our family, our community and our pets. Would highly recommend to family and friends for the care of all your fury friends.
I’ve been visiting this clinic for about 10 years, but I’m disappointed with the decline in customer service over the last couple of months. The reception staff can be rude and seem to lack compassion. They definitely need an attitude adjustment. Additionally, I find their prices to be overpriced for the level of service provided, making it feel like the focus is more on profit than on genuinely caring for pets and their owners.
